A few months ago we were reading Eating the Alphabet by Lois Ehlert. And it hit me! We should eat through the alphabet! Such an obvious idea, but after having this book for years – it was the first time it actually occured to me.
There are tons of very familiar fruits + vegetables in this book, but there are a handful that we’ve never tried.

I made a free printable for you! A picture of each fruit + vegetable in the book to print off for your home.
Print them out (best in color), then display somewhere in your home, and then take them down as you try them. We’re going to do a rating chart as well as grouping by letters – to add in some more activities. I laminated mine, too, because I can see this easily becoming a summer tradition in our family.
