We call it “Sheet Pan.”
Here’s my very official definition:
Sheet Pan
Noun
/SHēt/ /pan/
Any combination of protein, veggies, spices thrown together on a baking sheet to make a delicious dinner.
This is one of our go-to meals. It’s one of our favorites because it’s an easy weeknight dinner idea. Especially when we’ve been running around all day and don’t have the time to make our usual chicken cordon bleu. And I’m sure there’s a better name for it, but we always call it “Sheet Pan.”
It’s one of those meals where you can just use what you have in the pantry and fridge.
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Pick a protein.
3. Chop up 2-3 different veggies in larger chunks.
4. Chop up sweet potatoes (or white potatoes).
5. Chop up an onion (or don’t if you don’t like onions).
6. Throw everything together in a bowl, toss with avocado oil (or EVOO).
7. Add in garlic + spices. We like to use salt, pepper, parsley, chili powder.
8. Spread everything out evenly on 1-2 baking sheets, put in the oven.
9. Bake until the firmest vegetable you used is tender, flipping veggies about 12 min. into being in the oven
This recipe is great for so many reasons.
